Stacy Sharpe
Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer
Stacy Sharpe is Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Verizon. She leads and develops a world-class communications team to advance the business strategy, differentiate the brand and connect with the stakeholder communities Verizon serves.
Previously, Stacy was senior vice president, Corporate Brand, for The Allstate Corporation. In that role, she led stakeholder engagement, corporate reputation, internal and external communications, thought leadership, public relations, social media and The Allstate Foundation. Stacy also held roles at Allstate in Sales, Federal Affairs, HR and Operations.
Corporate and charitable leadership
Stacy serves on the board of directors of Facing History and Ourselves, the Page Society and the Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership and Ethics. She has been recognized in the Hill’s Top Corporate Lobbyists annual list and as a PRSA Chicago Distinguished Leader.
Personal and educational background
Stacy earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
