“George is an exceptional leader with strong industry expertise and a deep understanding of our culture and our enterprise clients,” said John Stratton. “His experience creating and developing high growth organizations will be critical as VES works to rapidly deliver industry-leading technology solutions and services to our global enterprise customer base.”

Most recently, Fischer served as senior vice president of global sales for VES, leading 2,100 sales professionals in 50-plus countries. In this role, he established customer, segment and product profitability cross-sell strategies, implemented modern sales forecasting and opportunity management processes and drove five quarters of new customer bookings growth. Additionally, Fischer created an integrity council and code of conduct guidelines for all sales and field operations.

“This is an exciting time for VES and I’m honored to be tapped to lead our high-performing team,” said Fischer. “Our organization has laid a solid foundation focusing on core products and services, and a unique desire to serve our global customers. Our focus will be on creating a high-growth engine for Verizon.”

Fischer has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in global sales, service, operations and management.
