It’s a small world after all – until you and the family pile into the car or head to the airport to see some of it. That’s when time and distance become reality. This year, as Fios by Verizon customers finalize their end-of-summer travel plans, they have one more entertainment option to pack.

Disney Movies Anywhere lets Fios customers access their favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars movies at home or on the go, providing hours of family-friendly entertainment on the ground or in the air. Fios is the first multichannel video programming distributor to join Disney’s cloud-based digital movie service platform. Customers can now seamlessly connect their digital movie collections – from their iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU, Google Play, Microsoft Movies & TV, and now their Fios accounts – to their television or their mobile device and watch them virtually anywhere, anytime.

“Disney Movies Anywhere is the perfect fit for families on the go,” said Tricia Lynch, executive director, Content Strategy and Acquisitions for Verizon. “Now our Fios customers can watch all their great Disney movies at home with Fios on Demand and anywhere else with the Fios Mobile app.”

The launch of Disney Movies Anywhere on Fios coincides with the digital release of Disney’s hit film The Jungle Book. And for a limited time, Disney Movies Anywhere is offering a free copy of Disney Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. to new and existing members who connect to the service.
