Diego Scotti discusses the future of marketing in the latest episode of Up to Speed: A Verizon Podcast.

How do you take an iconic brand known for its wireless network and let the world know it's so much more?

That's the task Diego Scotti faced when he joined Verizon three years ago.

The challenges of rebranding an evolving company, humanability and the future of marketing are among the topics he discusses with Marie McGehee in the latest episode of Up to Speed: A Verizon Podcast.

In the podcast, Diego shares details of his personal journey of coming to America as a 23-year-old immigrant to live in Miami, before moving to New York City a few months before the September 11 attacks.

His initial plan was to stay a few years, gain experience, then return to his native Argentina. Instead, he has made his home in New York City and worked in a wide array industries ranging from finance, to fashion to technology.

Diego also discusses the importance of diversity, the business advantages it creates and how he's tackling the industry’s diversity problem directly through his Ad Fellows diversity fellowship program.
